The Curious Cupboard No 6 The Collector’s Cupboard 1000 Piece Puzzle

I’ve always loved jigsaw puzzles and find them a good way to unwind at the end of a busy day, once my son is finally asleep.  I am not a fan of puzzles with huge blue skies, I prefer those with lots of details to enjoy as I’m piecing a jigsaw together.  The Curious Cupboard No 6 The Collector’s Cupboard 1000 Piece Puzzle from Ravensburger is exactly my kind of jigsaw.

Colin Thompson designed puzzles never disappoint and this one is no exception. I love collecting different things, so the topic of this particular jigsaw design resonates with me.  Where to store everything is a constant battle too.

I’d certainly have more shoes to store in my own curious cupboard and the submarine was a hit with my son when he asked to look at the puzzle one morning.

The Curious Cupboard No 6 The Collector’s Cupboard 1000 Piece Puzzle certainly makes you think about the items you collect, I may not collect clocks and bottles, but I do certainly collect cat ornaments of all shapes and sizes.

This has proved to be another lovely jigsaw puzzle to complete with plenty of challenges in the details and I can’t wait to see what Colin Thompson has in store for curious cupboard number 7.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum with an 8 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.

  1. I’m with you on puzzles and liking lots of details. It makes it so much more interesting as you’re doing them and faster. I must get back to puzzles now it’s getting darker in the evenings. I might even manage to get N to help with some. I need to get him some 500 piece ones to do alongside my 1000 ones which are just too much for him until they’re near the end.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
