December is a busy month for us, firstly with my son’s birthday and then all the excitement as we get closer and closer to Christmas Day and everything that that entails.  I always like to complete a festive jigsaw at this time of year and this month I’ve been putting together the Ravensburger Lets Visit Santa Limited Edition 1000 piece puzzle, which has been so lovely to complete.

I can still remember my son’s expression as he toddled along a snowy pathway towards Santa’s Grotto for the first time.  Seeing penguins and reindeer as we walked along.  This puzzle has so many elements to it that any parent will immediately connect with.

Not only that, but there’s so much colour and detail in the design of the Lets Visit Santa Limited Edition 1000 piece puzzle, that any jigsaw puzzle fan is going to enjoy completing it.

Any hint of a train when visiting Santa is always a big hit here, for the last few years we’ve actually met Santa on a steam train ride, so seeing one in this puzzle made me smile.

The puzzle pieces are of a high quality, as you would expect from Ravensburger, and they always fit together well, when completing any of their puzzles.

Now he’s in Year Four we don’t get to enjoy a nativity play at school, but they will always be part of our own nativity scene we put in place before Christmas.

The Lets Visit Santa Limited Edition 1000 piece puzzle really has been a joy to complete and it’s a puzzle that has so much to enjoy within the scene.  From the Nutcracker to the present laden stockings hanging from the fireplace, and to Santa himself.  The jigsaw reminds us just how magical this time of year is for children.
