We’d like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas 2018 and to thank you for your continued support of our adventures on the blog. It really does mean a lot to us that so many of you take the time to read about our exploits, enter our giveaways and send messages of support and encouragement throughout the year.
We’re at home this Christmas, enjoying a couple of quiet (who am I kidding!!!) days having quality family time. I’m sure there will be a large amount of Lego building going on along the way. I might be super excited about one particular present my son might be getting this year. I’m hoping he shares it.
I may not be spending Christmas Day with my parents, but I’m away of how lucky I am to have them to talk to on Christmas Day when so many of my friends are now without one or both of theirs. I’m thankful, very thankful. We will visit Daddy P’s parent’s graves so my son can send them his love in heaven too.
This year has been full of ups and downs and the future is very unsure, but right now we are just going to enjoy the here and now and the ‘joy’ of being woken up at silly o’clock by a nine year old who is living his best life. Christmas to me, is all about seeing the joy in your child’s face, the magic is real, we can still hear the bell ring, can you? Watch Polar Express if you have no idea what I’m going on about!
So from me and my cheeky son, who will always be Monkey, even if he’s ‘too old’ for me to call him that here anymore, have a wonderful Christmas.
