How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 on DVD – box set giveaway

Today sees the general release at the cinema of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.  We were really lucky to see a preview of the film last weekend and it’s wonderful.  There are moments that will make you want to grab a tissue and plenty of others that will make you giggle with laughter.  We’re huge fans of the books and films and both agreed that this is a great end to the film series.  You might have spotted my recent review and giveaway post for the Augmented Reality book of this new film.  Well I also thought it would be great to offer you all the chance to won one of two box sets of the How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 on DVD.

  1. Mine would be a midnight purple dragon with huge wings, three heads, each with striking white eyes. It would be called hydie

  2. It would be called Blue Blizzard. It would be part blue and part black with huge turquoise eyes and magical feathers down its tail. It would breathe fire or rainbows depending on its mood

  3. I imagine it would look a little like the original Elliot, Pete’s Dragon, because I loved him as a child, but the colours would be more purple and lilac. She would be called Davina (long story!)

  4. Mysti – short for mystical. It would be colourful, kind and gentle with a great sense of humour and an infectious giggle

  5. DND – ( do not disturb ) would look like me when I’m trying to get 5 minutes peace ! Ferocious and green eyed !

  6. My dragon would be dark green with a mouth of sharp teeth and breathing green flames, and it would called Douglas

  7. My dragon would be called Horacio and would be emerald green with orange tipped wings. He would breathe happiness over people instead of fire.

  8. Being welsh it would have to be a red dragon with green scales and jave a welsh accent, his name would be Dai.

  9. I’d call mine Angry Angus, he’d be purple with yellow spots, breath little flame’s and have big wide eyes, with a heart of gold.

  10. Now that’s a great question. I think our dragon would be called Gee-Gee and it would be just big enough for my little boy to sit on and ride to and from school as he is a little lazy on the walking side 😉 It would be have to be cute so as not to scare the other children…maybe have a gap tooth at the front like my little man so as to puff out a little smoke 🙂

  11. My daughter said she would call hers jeff lol and it would be black like toothless as toothless is really cute

  12. An Orange one we’d call him Satsuma my little grandson’ s favourite colour and he loves Satsuma’s

  13. I would have a dragon called Flame which is a red dragon with gold flames along its side and it would be the fastest bravest dragon!

  14. My dragon would be called disco and it would have disco lights for eyes with a silver shining body with a purple tail

  15. It would be Neirin, my sons name and it would be dark blue with spikes along its back but bug friendly eyes and a big smile.

  16. Puff the Magic Dragon – just because it reminds me of my Mum. She sang it to me all the time when I was little and then when she became a Nanna to my two she sang it all over again as she walked around cuddling them!

  17. I would call my Dragon Glitter Fire and it would be pink and glittery and it would breathe glitter not fire xx

  18. I would call him fireballs and he would be small so I could pop him in my handbag and sparkle under sunlight and be able to breath fire.

  19. mine would be shades of purple on the back and the back of its wings with shades of pale blue underneath it. It would have the ability to become invisible and its strengths would be speed and fire I would call it lightning devil

  20. The dragon would be called Mangon, it would have purple skin, wide mouth filled with rows of short sharp teeth, his body covered with dark warts and would have a long tail finished with a spike.

  21. I asked my daughter this earlier and she said Bestie and it’d be pink and her best friend, very scary haha

  22. shimmering shades of purple, blue, green and aqua with hints of pink depending on the light – I think she would be called Awyr which is sky in welsh 😀 everyone knows a dragon should have a welsh name

  23. My dragon would be big and commanding, that had been scorned in the past. He would be yellow and red, yet have a black line down his back. His name would be norspen.

  24. My dragon would be called RhyssyRoo after my son Rhys. He’d have bright blue eyes, jet black tufty fur blotching over his body, sharp scales and a long winding tail the same as Pikachu’s (Rhys added that bit!)

  25. I asked my daughter for this one – she said it would be as big as a bus, bright red with feathers on its head and called Dotty Doo Dah! So there you go!

  26. My 9 year old says he would call it ice backed dragon! It would be orange with light blue ice on its back with the ability of camouflage, shooting ice and mind controlling other dragons.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
