This year has got off to a cracking start as far as good books to read has been concerned.  I’ve recently finished Keep Your Eyes On Me by Sam Blake and it’s another corker.  Published through Corvus on 2nd January this is one of those books that draws you into the plot and makes you invest time in the various characters.

Keep Your Eyes On Me

In Keep Your Eyes On Me we meet two women who happen to end up sitting next to each other in business class on a flight to New York.

Lily Power is a young jeweller designer who has been invited to the Big Apple for an interview with No 42, a huge jewellery company.  She’s been so excited about the opportunity right up until her brother was swindled out of the family business in a card game.

Vittoria Devine is flying to New York to try to work out what to do next.  Her husband has been having another affair, but this time the other woman is heavily pregnant and Vittoria believes her husband is going to leave her with nothing.

The two strangers getting talking whilst waiting for their plane, and once they are on board, they realise that they can help each other put their lives back together, whilst getting vengeance on those who have wronged them.

The plot builds as the story of Keep Your Eyes On Me expands and there are a number of twists and turns as the plans the two women have worked on fall into place.  But is there more to these women than meets the eye?

They each have a back story and although you know where the plotline should be leading you, there’s an unexpected twist right at the end.  It’s a thoroughly enjoyed read and one I’m happy to recommend.  I’ve included my Amazon Affiliate link below (I do earn from qualifying purchases) for your information.
