If you’re a vegetarian then this post probably isn’t for you, but we all love our meat here and I’m always on the look out for good quality meat to cook with. We are going to be eating well with Buyacow.uk and I wanted to tell you all about them and their concept.
So what does eating well with Buyacow.uk actually mean? Well the company works with local farmers who are producing cows with premium grade beef which is rich in antioxidants, vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids. You buy a share in cow and once all shares are sold, your share will be butchered and delivered to your door in a specially packaged meat box. Buyacow.uk pride themselves on the environmentally sustainability of their service as no parts of the cow are wasted and you know exactly where your meat has come from. Being able to bypass the supermarket also means that you pay less for premium meat, while helping small-scale farmers earn more from their livestock.
There are two different sizes of meat boxes on offer – the small premium box gives you 3.5kgs of quality beef cuts, providing 14 meals for 2 people, or like us you can opt for the large premium box of 6.7kgs of quality beef, giving 26 meals for 2 people.
There are various steak cuts, a beef roast joint, mince, sausages, stir fry strips and diced beef, along with burgers. All come labelled and vacuum sealed and are suitable for home freezing.
Our delivery arrived just before my son and I were going away for a few days, so I popped our delivery into the freezer knowing I’d have a range of meal options to choose from when we would be back home properly again.
You receive a check list with your order, which makes it easy to remember what you’ve got left in the freezer.
