So today we have been to our weekly swimming lesson, today my son decided that he really didn’t want to do anything the instructor wanted – fun session for Mummy!! Getting ready for Daddy’s birthday
Then home to make a painting for Daddy’s birthday tomorrow while he was asleep upstairs. Then we baked some choc chip muffins, my son decided that they needed to be covered in icing with chocolate sprinkles on top. Good job his Dad is a choco-holic! Not sure they’ll be much of a surprise though with the amount of CHOCOLATE MUMMY that my son kept shouting out all afternoon.
So we’re ready for Dad’s birthday, hope he appreciates the effort!

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
Happy birthday to monkey’s daddy!
Oops! You’ve caught me out getting to grips with categories! I was sorting out old posts that I hadn’t put in a proper category when I first started the blog. This one is from October (seems like a lifetime ago now) when I really had no idea what I was doing. Sorry, didn’t realise they be re-sent to people now 🙂 (Clearly, I still have a lot to learn :))
