Next month is Mothers Day and also my Mum’s birthday. As she lives in Spain, I’m not always able to give her presents in person. I’ve often created Mothers Day memories with Truprint and this year will be no different.
I’m a big fan of photo books as a lovely reminder of happy memories shared and have given Mum books before with lots of photos of Monkey taken throughout the year. It’s a great way for her to see what he’s been up to and to watch him grow.
This year I wanted to do something a bit different and decided to use a few photographs and turn them into a few gifts for Mothers Day for my Mum and also make something for me too!
Mum and I both love jigsaw puzzles so I picked a couple of photos that my friend Galina took of Monkey and I recently, that I love, and had them turned into puzzles. Truprint can turn your photos into three different sizes of puzzle – 7×5″, 10×8″ and 16×12″. I opted for 7×5″ and 10×8″ and hope she’ll like them as a bit of a novelty.
I know Mum has a few fridge magnets and Monkey is obsessed with them, so I thought they’d also make a lovely little present for Mothers Day from him.
I’m guilty of taking hundred of photos and then not printing any of them out. I decided to change that and used Truprint’s photo printing service to print out a whole host of Monkey photos covering the last 12 months.
I’d recently been sent a lovely heart-shaped photo frame from Wilko and decided I’d make myself an early Mothers Day present filled with Monkey memories.
I’ll also be sending Mum some Monkey prints for her to add to her album.
Now if you are thinking of making some Mothers Day gifts then I have something for you! Truprint are currently running a campaign called Mum in a Million – they want to make a million mums smile by giving away 1 million personalised Mother’s Day cards. Use this code MUMINAMILLION at the Truprint checkout to claim your 7×52 folded card which comes complete with envelope. Please be aware that there is a standard P&P charge of 99p and ship to recipient is not an available option. This offer can only be used once and is strictly one code per household. Use this link to start creating your free card!
If you need to make more than one card, then other cards can be created and purchased here.
What memories will you be creating for Mothers Day this year?
disclaimer: we were given a code to orders items on from the Truprint site to be able to create this post.

That frame is gorgeous and I love the shape of the magnets. I love photo gifts – great choices x
They really are aren’t they.
Since the change to digital I bet there are billions more photos taken and yet probably a lot less printed.
Photo books are great ideas, we try and do one for each holiday. Might try truprint next time.
I do love Truprint for photobooks
Some lovely gift ideas there and love the heart shaped frame you’ve made a collage of pictures in.
