Mummy and Me – August 2019
My idea has been to take at least one photo a week, every week of the year of my son and I together.
Week 31
We started the month with a trip to Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace. Will be strange to not be at the same location next year.
Week 32
We had a quiet week when I wasn’t working with a fair bit of time spent at home.
Week 33
We started the week in London.
My son has decided that instead of pulling faces for me, he’s just going to shut his eyes! Sighs.
We spent some time at the theatre, watching Brainiac Live! before heading to HMS Belfast in the afternoon. Eyes wide shut again.
We spent a day down in Kent and packed lots in. We started at the Hornby opening day in Margate to see my son’s favourite loco Bittern.
We visited museums before ending up at Reculver, somewhere I’ve loved since my own childhood visits with my Uncle.
Week 34
We had a family funeral to attend early on in the week and spent some quiet time together on other days as I was going to be away with my bestie all of the following weekend.
Week 35
We’re enjoying our time together this week and cramming lots in. Hard to believe he goes back to school next week!
Have you got in front of the camera this month with your children?

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
