Mummy and Me – February 2018
My idea has been to take at least one photo a week, every week of the year of my son and I together. This month is full of selfies and I’ve really failed at getting some nice shots.
Week 5
An awful photo, but a photo non the less. We ended the week with a trip to Aylesbury to watch George’s Marvellous Medicine, which was brilliant. We both really enjoyed the performance and had great seats. A lovely afternoon together with my son.
Week 6
Me, my son and a bit of train track (as you do) which he’d been using as a launching ramp to get his trains jumping across the living room.
Week 7
Half term and quality time together and I’m rather cross with myself. I had a few opportunities this week to ask friends to take photos of the two of us together and I totally forgot. Such a shame as we had such a lovely week.
Week 8
The back to school week is always really tiring, especially at this time of year when it’s cold, dull and wet. We’ve been making more of a point of just sitting together after school and talking about our day. It’s been a good way to extract information out of my son without him really thinking about it!
Week 9
We spent the weekend with my best friend up in Derbyshire. My son and her have a really lovely bond, it was meant to be an overnight stay but he asked if we could stay for two nights. We wrapped up warm and headed out on a couple of adventures and just enjoyed being together. I wonder what March will bring.
Sounds like a lovely month together. Let’s hope March warms up and it won’t be so cold when out and about. The photos are lovely ❤️
Yes I’m hoping so too, Spring needs to arrive!
