Mummy and Me – February 2020

Mummy and Me – February 2020

Another year where I try to get out from behind my camera and capture moments with my son.

Week 6 and 7

My first failure of the year as I didn’t get any photos of us together for two weeks running!  Oops.

Week 8

Mummy and Me - February 2020

We made the most of our Buckinghamshire Railway Centre pass and popped in on their steaming-day after I finished work.

Mummy and Me

We ended the half-term holidays with a weekend away in Cambridgeshire.  It was cold but the rain stayed away long enough for us to enjoy the break.

Week 9

Mummy and Me - February 2020

We’re ending this month with smiles.  It’s been a month of wind and rain and truly dismal days, but March is around the corner which means Spring is nearly here!

  1. Yes—spring is nearly here! December and January were our wet and windy months. In fact, January was the second wettest month on record (since 1953) plus three days of snow and a heavy windstorm in the middle of all the snow. February has had some cloudy and rainy days but thankfully there’s been blue skies and sun several days! Very very welcome!! Snowdrops are almost over . . . crocuses are out as are early daffodils and an early variety of rhododendrons and early blossom trees. Different than last year when February was cold and had two weeks of snow delaying spring considerably.

    1. Mum and Dad have had no rain in Spain this month at all, the first February in the 15 years they’ve lived there. It’s as hot now as it normally is in April. Here it’s just been so wet and windy but only a few days where the cars have needed de-icing. Weird weather everywhere.
