Mummy and Me – June 2021 and this month is one of those that I’d like to put the brakes on as we head to the end of Primary School
Week 22
During half term, we caught the train for the first time since 2019 – masks at the ready!
To spend the day with my niece who lives in Birmingham. She took us out for lunch and took one of my favourite photos of the two of us.
Week 23
Bit of a blurred selfie for this week.
Week 24
We spent Father’s Day at Broughton Castle and it was my new iPhone’s first outing – the OH hadn’t quite grasped the zoom function clearly 🙂
Week 25
Wow, the difference in the quality of selfies on my new phone compared to the old one! This week my son had his last Sports Day at Primary school and he won his races. He was full of it all when he got home. No parents allowed due to Covid. He’s also now the proud owner of my old iPhone 6 and he thinks he’s so grown up. He’s sending family and special friends his own text messages now, and I get I love you Mummy texts in the morning and evening. Savouring that while I can!
I can’t quite believe that we are about to enter the last month of Primary School!
Have you got out from behind the camera this month?

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
Aww! What a lovely collection of photos. Your boy is growing up fast. x
He really is
