Mummy and Me – November 2020
Another month where I try to get out from behind my camera and capture moments with my son. The month my son had to self isolate due to a Coronavirus case in his class and that we lost his beloved Paddington, our little bear.
Week 45
My son is in year six and I need to start preparing him for Secondary school next year, so we agreed that he could start walking part of the way home with his best friend. This shot was taken on our last full walk home together. It felt very strange not to meet him as he came out of class for the first time in eight years.
Week 46
Smiles at the end of a school week and smiles as we headed out on weekend adventures – we certainly got rather muddy on that particular walk!
Week 47
A different kind of Mummy and Me shot this week, but I figured that this might be the only year where we are actually able to wear the same size socks! Odd Sock day of course.
Week 48
Sunshine on a late afternoon walk.
The following photo makes me a little sad. This was taken on Tuesday, my son had been sent home to self isolate for the next couple of weeks. Neither of us had any idea that that wouldn’t be the bad news for the week. The next day Paddington would be dead, and right now I’m not sure when we’ll be really smiling again. Time will tell.
