I’ve been joining in with Project 365 since the start of 2014, and been inspired by The Boy and Me to make sure I take a Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year! Project 365 2015 Week 49 Days 333-339. A week of rather rubbish photos I’m afraid.
Sunday 29th November – Day 333
After a quiet morning at home we went to see The Good Dinosaur at the local cinema. Should have remembered to arrive after the trailers who spook Monkey. He managed quite well with the film, although ended up curling up on my lap at one point when he got a bit scared. We saw a trailer for the Charlie Brown film, I think I’m going to book tickets for that to show him that films can be ok.
Monday 30th November – Day 334
Time to find Berry the Elf and prepare for his return tomorrow. Caught up with some jobs and wrote out our Christmas cards. Rang the Doctors to rearrange Monkey’s flu spray appointment that I totally forgot about on Friday, luckily they were very understanding – phew!
Tuesday 1st December – Day 335
I’ve been a fan of Mia Tui bags since I reviewed for them back in April last year. I’ve bought a further 3 bags of varying sizes since then. They’re based not too far from me and were having an open day, so I had to pop over obviously! Treated myself to an Olivia and a purse and will be showcasing the Sue Shopper on the blog after Christmas. Got to see the 2016 colours and fell in love.
Monkey had a treat in store when he got home, with a new review item. It was love at first sight for him too – can you tell?
Finalised the details for Monkey’s birthday bowling party next week. Why the heck do people find it impossible to RSVP these days? It’s so rude!
Wednesday 2nd December – Day 336
I took Monkey to school and then had to go back to bed, felt awful, could barely swallow and ached all over. Not what I needed. Cancelled Jado Chi, helping at school and Skype call to Spain. Daddy P picked Monkey up from school and was in charge until Monkey went to bed.
Brewster was my nursemaid for the day and didn’t move from this spot on the bed. Bless him.
Thursday 3rd December – Day 337
Took Monkey to school and then spent the day doing nothing, felt lousy. It was the local Christmas lights switch on and I’d promised Monkey we would go. I felt a bit more with it in the evening and Daddy P came out of work for a bit so we could all go down together. The only fairground Monkey will go on is the Teacups, he loves them, and I loved looking at that smile. The lights came on and thousands of paper snowflakes came drifting down on us all, wish I’d caught that moment on camera! But it was a lovely, magical touch.
Friday 4th December – Day 338
Dress down day at school and apparently Monkey didn’t appreciate my croaking singing over breakfast – cheeky! I was feeling a lot better thankfully, so could catch up with some overdue work. Also had to get one of my headlight bulbs changed as it blew last night. Halfords dealt with it all so quickly, great service.
I’d been invited to join 4 other Oxfordshire Bloggers for a review meal in the evening at Wa! in Oxford and was so pleased I felt well enough to go. Daddy P actually got up early enough to take charge of Monkey, so I had ‘time’ to get ready, that was a luxury. The evening was great fun, the food was fab and it was lovely to catch up with some lovely ladies. I hope we get the opportunity to do it again with more county bloggers in the future.
Saturday 5th December – Day 339
We had already arranged to spend the day with our Special Sheba in Banbury when I was asked to review their local Toby Carvery – perfect timing. It’s somewhere I’ve not been to since I moved away from the town so was great to revisit with Monkey. We all had a good time.
Then it was back to Sheba’s and Monkey was put in charge of arranging her Christmas decorations, following in my eldest nephew’s steps from years gone by. He loved it, and wants us to get our tree up sooner rather than later.
Home and head cold is coming into its own – joy! Needs to be gone, I have serious birthday preparations to attend to this week!

Sorry you’ve been poorly this week, but glad you got to enjoy your night out with the Oxfordshire bloggers! We had a Gloucestershire bloggers’ night out this week too, although sadly not a review night out! That’s our aim for next time 😉
It is very annoying when people don’t RSVP. Grrr!
Yes luckily it all happened at the right end of the week!
Hope you’re feeling better. I’m looking forward to the Charlie Brown movie, and Star Wars too!
Just a stinking cold now! thanks
Hope you feel better soon Mary! The Max Tow is awesome isn’t it! Love that monkeys is decorating the tree.
Getting there thanks Jo
hope the good dinosaur was good? we saw a behind the scenes making of int last weekend at home and i think the boys want to see it.
Monkey must be thrilled with his playmobil advent calendar and welcome back Berry – hope you are a good elf!
sorry to hear you have been unwell, but better to get it out of the way before Christmas x
It was a cute film, but not their best imo
Lovely photos, Mary! Sorry you’ve been feeling poorly, hope you are better now. Monkey looks so grown up now. We haven’t seen the Dino film yet. Does Monkey like his Playmobil advent? we had one last year, this year Eddie chose a Lego Star Wars advent calendar.
He loves the Playmobil ones – 3 year running, but first one that isn’t particularly festive.
Glad the Toby Carvery went ok and you could make room! N’s been hassling me to put up our tree as well. I’m debating next weekend although the OH will moan it’s too soon.
It’ll be me moaning as it will take Brewster all of 2 minutes to jump into the middle of it and start chewing through the lights!
glad you were feeling better in time to enjoy the meet up and dinner on friday
Yes, I’d have been gutted to miss it
Hope you managed to get all the birthday preparations done and your head cold is now gone.
Hope you’re feeling much better now, and glad that you managed to get to the dinner x
oh dear that you did not feel well, sometimes you do just have to give into it, I did the other week.
Nice to read that Monkey is happy to do more and more as time goes on, it has been nice to follow his development in this way.
Glad you enjoyed your meals out.
He’s come on so much lately it’s been lovely to watch
Sounds like a busy week. Hope you didn’t feel unwell for too long.
Finally kicked the back of the cold this weekend.
