Project 365 2019 Week 16 Day 104 – 110

Sunday 14th April – Day 104

Project 365 2019 Week 16

We spent time at home playing with a review set we’d been sent.

Monday 15th April – Day 105

Project 365 2019 Week 16

Work for me in the morning and my son went to our friends for a couple of hours. In the afternoon I left him at home with his Dad while I went to get petrol.  I took the opportunity to have a look at our newly refurbished garden centre before I went back home.  I don’t need any more mugs in the house, but this was rather cute.  I was good though and didn’t buy it.

Tuesday 16th April – Day 106

Project 365 2019 Week 16

My son and I headed down the A34 to spend the day at Marwell Zoo for a review trip.  It was just what we both needed and we had a lovely day together.

Wednesday 17th April – Day 107

Project 365 2019 Week 16

A really hard day with things that are going on behind the scenes.  I had work in the morning and my son went to our friends.

After lunch we decided to get my son’s holiday homework done.  He had to write-up a fact file on a country of his choice.  He’d  picked Canada after seeing our Canadian relations recently, and then decided he wanted to type the work up.  My son is no touch typist, but he got there in the end.

Thursday 18th April – Day 108

Project 365 2019 Week 16

I’d felt so stressed yesterday, but I can’t control what’s going on at the moment so I decided that today would be spent concentrating on the positives and enjoying the sunshine.  Whilst my son was busy digging in his mud pit I washed my car, and then sat in the sun with a cuppa and a good book.

My son had been a bit unsettled on and off during the day, not sure if he’s coming down with something.

After dinner I headed over to a friend’s house for the evening, for a few beers and a good catch up.

Friday 19th April – Day 109

Project 365 2019 Week 16

Good Friday started bright and early when my son got into bed with me at 3am.  He was really hot and restless for the rest of the night.  Not much sleep was had.

He seemed brighter in the morning and we chilled out with me reading and him drawing in the garden.  In the afternoon we dropped in to my SIL’s for a couple of hours for a catch up and to drop off her birthday cards.  When we left my son was looking really flushed again and feeling lethargic.  We got home and his temperature was sky-high, time for some meds and an ice pop.

Saturday 20th April – Day 110

Project 365 2019 Week 16

I had another early morning visitor.  He ‘helped’ his Dad wash his car in the morning and I decided to make a start at tackling the chaos that is our spare room.

After lunch we headed over to my brother’s for the afternoon.  We had a walk through Hazelborough Wood with him, my SIL and their dog, enjoying the bluebells before heading back to their house to go through all the old photos our parents have sent over from Spain.  Lots of classic 70’s clothing choices.

  1. Aww! That is such a cute mug. I have such a problem with buying mugs. We can’t fit anymore in the cupboard but it doesn’t stop me. lol
I love the photo of your boy on the lion! What fun! x

  2. Hope your son is feeling better now. Sorry to hear that you are still going through so much stress.
Well done to your son for typing up his project! Love the photo of him at the zoo.

  3. Hope Monkey is feeling better now. He looks so grown up in that photo where he’s sitting on a bench and writing in a diary/notebook.
The mug is very cute. I stopped buying mugs, as there’s no space for them in the kitchen, though I do buy vintage cups and saucers, which makes no logic at all. 🙂
Happy Easter to you and Monkey!

  4. Hope he’s feeling better soon. So many bugs around at the moment – H seemed to pick up one after another the last weeks of term. I love the pic with the lion at the zoo.

  5. Im sorry life is tough at the moment, thinking of you x
Love Marwell Zoo we are going soon and I can’t wait to have a looks round its such a lovely place.
Hope he’s feeling better its not nice when they aren’t right during the holidays
    Those bluebells look stunning

  6. Oh no..hope he is fully better now.

Sorry you are going through some stress at the moment, hope it gets better for you.

I am not sure I would have been able to say no to that mug!

  7. Hope he’s been much better this week. I love looking at old photos. I’m gutted because after clearing out my mum’s house I couldn’t find where I’d put mine and my brother’s old childhood photo albums. No idea where they went to but I’m just hoping they’re somewhere different to the other photos, and didn’t get thrown out.

  8. I really want to go to Marwell Zoo to see the Lego dinosaurs. Holiday homework always seems like a chore for the parents rather than the kids! #project365
