Project 365 2019 Week 38 Day 258 – 264

Sunday 15th September – Day 258

Project 365 2019 Week 38

We headed over to see my brother and SIL and went to Stoke Bruerne for a few hours. It was lovely to get out in the sunshine, walk along the towpaths and enjoy lunch outside.  My brother and I took photos, whilst my son prefered to video the outing.

When we got home we let Paddington explore outside again but got him in before it got dark.  He’s loving the freedom.

Monday 16th September – Day 259

Project 365 2019 Week 38

This was the scene I faced when I got out of the shower this morning.  I’m not keen on having a kitten actually in my bed, but it was all rather cute.

A busy day with school, both of my admin jobs, shopping and homework.  My son and I were both knackered by the evening.  Daddy P had another late night too.

Tuesday 17th September – Day 260

Project 365 2019 Week 38

What a glorious day, although it was still a tad chilly on the walk to school.  But nice to have the patio door open while I worked from home on my second job.

Paddington is still on attack mode, so my latest tactic is to have Brewster sleeping upstairs during the day as much as he wants, out of the way.  While Paddington runs around outside like a banshee.  It’s avoiding the issue but at least neither of them are getting hurt this way.

Daddy P had promised me he’d be home earlier tonight as I really wanted to see Downton Abbey at the cinema with some of my NCT group.  It was really well done and was nice to get out of the house in the evening.

Wednesday 18th September – Day 261

Project 365 2019 Week 38

A two job day and Brewster was due to at the Vets for his annual booster.  Bless him, he’s got to have some dental work done on Monday.  It’s going to be a challenge to get him in the house first thing in the morning to make sure he doesn’t eat or drink anything.  They only do dental work in the afternoon apparently.  He’ll be less than impressed with that idea.

My Auntie is back in hospital again, the second time in as many weeks.

Thursday 19th September – Day 262

Project 365 2019 Week 38

We got some exciting post this afternoon when the latest book in the Wizards of Once series popped through the letterbox on publication day.  A nice surprise for my son.

Friday 20th September – Day 263

Project 365 2019 Week 38

This week the weather has been lovely, a little chilly on the morning school walk but within an hour or two, its’s been so nice.

It’s been a day of three jobs – morning admin job, afternoon admin job, blog work – all before school pick up.  I even got to enjoy appreciating my passionflower plant which just keeps giving.

Saturday 21st September – Day 264

Coppid Beach hotel

My youngest niece’s 21st birthday.  She’s enjoying herself in New Zealand.

Emma from Bubba Blue and Me picked me up and we headed down to the Blog On conference for the day.  It is nice to be able to have some me-time on a Saturday these days without stressing about childcare for my son.

  1. I hope you all enjoyed BlogOn! It sounds like hard work juggling your two jobs, but good to hear that you managed to get out to see Downton Abbey. I’m going to see it tonight!
Hope Brewster is OK having his teeth done. The photo of your son and Paddington is so cute!

  2. I was wondering if it was Paddington or Brewster with Monkey in bed, they look so much alike. Glad you had an evening at the cinema with your friends, and hope you enjoyed the film.
I bought Wizards of Once in Sainsbury’s a week ago, for some reason it was there before the official publication day. We’re reading it now, half-way through, but Eddie says he doesn’t like it as much as the previous two books. Would like to know what you two think of it.

  3. Was lovely to catch up on Saturday. Sorry, f I didn’t stop talking! A week of being quiet to rest my throat and I had a lot to say lol. Must be a nightmare trying to get 2 cats to be friends. At least with dogs, they’ll be reassured if you meet them gradually, tell them off for being aggressive and will just have a sniff around and then be friends.

  4. Aww! Paddington and your boy in bed is very cute! It sounds like the kitten is loving being outside.
Good luck with getting Brewster to the vets on Monday.
I hope you had a fab time at BlogOn x

  5. Was Downton Abbey good? I’ll probably wait till it comes out on the plane to see it. Sorry about your Aunt, hope she’s improving. Poor Brewster, he must be fed up with Paddington now. Tell F their is another surprise parcel coming through the post soon

  6. Hope you had a fun trip. The picture of your son & cat is adorable. It must’ve been tough, not allowing Paddington to eat after the dental work.
It truly is a joy getting books from the mail.
You’re quite a busy mom. I love the flower!!!
Great to meet up with fellow Project 365 bloggers. Its difficult for me to do that, living in a different continent

  7. Hope you had a great time at Blogon I was sorry to have missed it especially as it was down South. Sounds busy juggling all the different jobs this week and I hope Brewsters dentist appointment goes okay.

  8. Lovely to see you at Blog On. I really enjoyed the Downton Abbey film when I saw it with my mum and am sad there won’t be another series #project365
