Sunday 16th – Day 47
A very special milestone for Monkey, as he finally decided that he would like a bike.
Monday 17th – Day 48
The first day of half term was a busy one for us. Monkey’s godmum and her daughter came up from Wiltshire and we met our NCT group and all the kids at a local soft play. It was too busy/noisy for Monkey, but we had a nice lunch out, and playtime at home. Then a quiet tea, just me and Monkey.
Tuesday 18th – Day 49
We met friends at our local Children’s Centre for the morning. Monkey was so happy to be back in one of his favourite sandpits!
Wednesday 19th – Day 50
One very excited Monkey was looking forward to spending the day with his Special Sheba and Miss D.
Thursday 21st – Day 51
Another busy day saw up driving down to Westfield for a date with Tree Fu Tom! We had a lovely day out and somehow, another Lego set came home with us.
Friday 22nd – Day 52
After a quick checkup with the Dentist, we caught the train down to London. After a lovely lunch at Pizza Express, it was time to meet Postman Pat! Monkey hasn’t stopped singing the theme tune since!
Saturday 23rd – Day 53
We spent a quiet morning at home, recovering from our busy week. After lunch, we headed over to Blenheim Palace to meet up with friends for the afternoon. It was so nice to be outside in the sunshine for a few hours.
We’ve had a wonderful half term week, seen lots of our favourite friends and met two of Monkey’s TV heroes, not forgetting Brewster’s mate Jess the cat!
Love the sand pictures, and the bike – looks like he has got the hang of that! #project365
He still needs to work on the pedalling, but it’s just been so lovely to spend some time outdoors

Yep! I never learn do I? I was shattered by last night but Monkey has loved every minute.

Oh yes, although this week is all about getting ready to fly to Spain – manic!

Oh meeting Postman Pat. My oldest son was a huge fan but his son loves Peppa.
It was a great day, one that he’ll remember for a long time.
