Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky 365 Project A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year! Project 365 – Week 8 Days 47 – 53.
Sunday 16th – Day 47
A very special milestone for Monkey, as he finally decided that he would like a bike.
Monday 17th – Day 48
The first day of half term was a busy one for us. Monkey’s godmum and her daughter came up from Wiltshire and we met our NCT group and all the kids at a local soft play. It was too busy/noisy for Monkey, but we had a nice lunch out, and playtime at home. Then a quiet tea, just me and Monkey.
We met friends at our local Children’s Centre for the morning. Monkey was so happy to be back in one of his favourite sandpits!
One very excited Monkey was looking forward to spending the day with his Special Sheba and Miss D.
Another busy day saw up driving down to Westfield for a date with Tree Fu Tom! We had a lovely day out and somehow, another Lego set came home with us.
After a quick checkup with the Dentist, we caught the train down to London. After a lovely lunch at Pizza Express, it was time to meet Postman Pat! Monkey hasn’t stopped singing the theme tune since!
We spent a quiet morning at home, recovering from our busy week. After lunch, we headed over to Blenheim Palace to meet up with friends for the afternoon. It was so nice to be outside in the sunshine for a few hours.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
Love the sand pictures, and the bike – looks like he has got the hang of that! #project365
He still needs to work on the pedalling, but it’s just been so lovely to spend some time outdoors
wow you have had a busy week this week
Yep! I never learn do I? I was shattered by last night but Monkey has loved every minute.
You’s look like you all had a busy week and how fab that monkey got to meet Postman Pat! #project365
I think I was almost as excited as Monkey to meet Pat!
You have had a busy week! Lovely to see you and Monkey yesterday
Rather manic – it was lovely to see you too, sorry that Monkey was not at his best by then!
Very jealous of you meeting postman pat 🙂 x
It was a real highlight, Monkey was so thrilled
Sounds like a lovely week. Love the last picture of a grinning monkey 🙂
It’s been really busy, can’t believe he is back at school in the morning
what a busy week with lots of different amazing things to do. A very happy smiling boy, and glad the sun shone for you for at least one day
Yes, it certainly was rather action packed, I was shattered by Friday!
It sounds and looks like Monkey has had a very fun packed week – bet you will be glad when he is back at nursery so you can have a rest!
Oh yes, although this week is all about getting ready to fly to Spain – manic!
Looks like you all had a great week, and I am surprised Brewster didn’t sneek into the action somewhere!
I think he’s sulking actually, out of the limelight!
Oh meeting Postman Pat. My oldest son was a huge fan but his son loves Peppa.
It was a great day, one that he’ll remember for a long time.
Wow! Look at that photo with Postman Pat, bet he was completely awestruck.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
He certainly was! I’ll be back next Saturday with a big catch up post, needed a weekend away from the computer!
