The eagle-eyed amongst you might have noticed that I’ve been wearing a different piece of jewellery around my neck recently. I received the Tiny Whale Necklace from Jana Reinhardt a short time ago and it’s become a firm favourite.
I do love jewellery and as much as I know you’d all expect me to pick a necklace featuring a cat, I decided that The Tiny Whale Necklace was just a little different and my choice was made.
Master Goldsmiths Jana Reinhardt and her husband Ross Cutting produce their handmade jewellery from their Sussex workshop and they mix their passion for jewellery making with their concerns for animal welfare and green living. The Tiny Whale Necklace from Jana Reinhardt is part of a collection that is intended to raise funds for animal charities across the world. They aim to produce a different piece each month which will then benefit different animal welfare or environmental charities.
As with all of the range, The Tiny Whale Necklace from Jana Reinhardt is made from recycled precious metals, in this case, 925 Sterling Silver. Although you can also purchase it in 9ct, 18ct gold or platinum.
I opted for the adjustable 41/46cm chain, but the necklace is also available with a 52/57cm chain if you prefer a longer pendant.
That necklace is so pretty.
I have seen the Jana Reinhardt necklaces before but had no idea they raised money for animal charities. Wonderful. x
It’s a great idea and the necklace is beautiful
