I can’t quite believe it, but we’ve had Brewster a whole year now. He moved in with us on 11th August last year and has certainly settled in well. My curtains haven’t survived him quite so well, and he had great fun destroying playing with the Christmas Tree.
I’ve always been mad about cats, and have spent most of my life with at least one cat in tow. It was quite a shock to go from an elderly and poorly 19-year-old cat to an 8 week old kitten though, but we’ve grown to love our youngest member of the family.
He loves water and tries to get in the bowl with the washing up, eats my feet, chases bees around the garden and gets stung, insists on butting in on every review video we make, plays trains with Monkey and has hollow legs like the other men in this house – he fits in well.
We’ve had Brewster a whole year and we love him loads 🙂
I’ve decided to link this post to Magic Moments hosted by Jaime at The Oliver’s Madhouse this week, it may not be a magic moment for you, but having our Brewster is a magic moment for me.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
It is nice to have a pet, I think its good for children. I bet this year has flown past :0)
I totally agree, I grew up surrounded by all sorts of animals. Especially with Monkey being an only child, think it helps to have a little friend.
Lovely pictures – I think having a pet around children is great! Anyway your videos wouldn’t be the same without an appearance from Brewster x
I know, he is the star of the videos, I totally agree, I think it’s really important for kids to be around pets growing up
so cute
He is sometimes – when he is not launching himself at my feet!
yay heres to brewsters first year with you!! he certainly looks like he has settled well and kept you on your toes xx
thanks for linking up with #MagicMoments x
He certainly does, when he’s not trying to eat them!
He’s a beautiful cat Mary, we got Figaro in November last year, she was already 7 months old and a rescue cat so she’d had a hard life and was a bit bitey and scared for the first couple of months. Now she lies all over us and is crazy about the girls. Cats are really quite comical, I love the picture of him in the high chair x
Love Figaro – what a beautiful name, bless her, sounds like she’s got herself a good home now. The high chair one is probably my all time favourite – caught him just in time 🙂
