Blog Birthday Giveaway – Mums on Strike

Blog Birthday Giveaway - Mums on StrikeAnother day and another book shaped treat for you!  Blog Birthday Giveaway – Mums on Strike is a new book from Laura Kemp.  One for us Mums to enjoy, rather than the kids!

You can see the full review over at The Soup Dragon Says, who is also another Mum to One.  We often both feel frazzled by the challenges of bringing up our sons, and to be honest who doesn’t feel like just going on strike from time to time??

Laura Kemp was inspired to write this book, feeling exactly like that too …..

Then one night, probably having either been woken by my crying son or my snoring husband, I came up with an idea for a book based on my experience of motherhood. A book for the huge majority of mums who neither have nannies nor personal trainers. A book for those of us who have so much going on in our heads we want to scream but we’re so tired we can barely muster a whimper.

Now why not put your feet up, with a cuppa and grab your chance to win this great book that any Mum will relate too.  Just complete the rafflecopter below to entry – good luck!

  1. I absolutely hate cleaning the shower – especially the plug hole! I have to wear gloves and I often wretch!

  2. I don’t mind a lot of the ‘dirty’ jobs around the house, but I hate cleaning the kitchen floor – the tiles we have ALWAYS look dirty, I’ve seen me on my hands and knees scrubbing them with raw bleach – Cinderella style – and they still don’t look clean!

  3. My worst job is putting the ironing away, closely followed by cleaning out the oven yuk

  4. I absolutely hate cleaning the bathroom, especially after my son has played football and he’s covered in mud!!!

  5. Anything to do with cleaning the kitchen, its the most used room of the house so always the worst to clean

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
