Peter's Railway book bundle giveaway

Peter’s Railway book bundle giveaway

If you read my post last week about the BookTrust Time to Read campaign, you will have noticed that we brought my son’s love of steam trains alive with his Peter’s Railway book and a visit to the Severn Valley Railway.  With a reluctant independent reader I’m always on the look out for books that might ignite my son’s desire to read by himself.  The series of books by Christopher Vine have become firm favourites as they mix fictional stories with factual information about steam trains.

  1. I also found these lovely books and bought some for my grandson Matthew he loves trains and finds these very interesting with the technical information I recently bought him the colouring/puzzle book.

  2. I’d love to win it for my nephew. His birthday is coming up and he wants to be a train driver when he grows up

  3. My little boy loves these books. We’ve bought a few from Sunderland Illuminations at Roker Park before. He’d absolutely love the rest of the set,

  4. Definitely my 7yr old as he would love it! He was Thomas mad as a toddler but he outgrew it so this would be lovely way to get him intrigued again

  5. My grandson he’s train mad I think he takes after his great grandad who was a train driver he used to drive the old steam trains on the Keighley Worth Valley line he was the first man to drive a diesel train from Keighley and then went to Ilkley and did the Carlisle run a little bit of history in our family

  6. I’d save it for my 5 year old for Christmas. He is train obsessed. He will tell you all about the coupling, which are steam and diesel and underground. Lately he looks up trains on Youtube and his latest is all about the EL trains in Chicago.

  7. I am a childrens day nursery manager and have a lot of children who attend who love trains so I would give them to my Nursery and they would be absolutely thrilled. Thanks for the chance

  8. My nephew who’s 3, took him on a train recently, he was so giddy and excited on the trip, a delight to be with.

  9. I would give this fabulous bundle of books to my son who absolutely loves trains especially stream trains

  10. My friends little boy, he loves trains and books so I know that these are something he will really enjoy

  11. I would be passing them to my niece and nephew, to read now and keep as keep sacks for when they older

  12. I would give these to my goddaughter. My little girl is still a touch too young, but Poppy is the perfect age!

  13. My nephew, Freddie, is 4 and he would adore these books. He loves books and reading, but he also loves trains, we often have to take him to our local train station to watch all the trains coming and going.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
