disclosure: we were sent the item mentioned for the purpose of hosting a giveaway
We’ve been fans of the Peter’s Railway series of books long before I mentioned them on the blog. They really are a must for children who love steam trains of all sizes. When I noticed that a new book would be published just before my son’s 10th birthday, I knew I had to buy him a copy to open on his birthday earlier this week. The author, Christopher Vine also included a Peter’s Railway Racing Trains signed copy for me to give away to one of my readers.
The sixth book in this hardback series, Peter’s Railway Racing Trains sees Grandpa, Peter, Kitty and Harry having more fun on their miniature railway which runs between Oaksted Station and Crossacres Farm.
As with all of these books, it doesn’t just contain a story for children to enjoy, but it also includes lots of factual information about steam locomotives and how they run. In this book, children learn about railway speed records and mechanical power. It’s these added elements to the books that my own son really loves.
You can find out more information about Peter’s Railway series of books on their website, which also includes a range of smaller books for younger children and an activity book.
To win the Peter’s Railway Racing Trains signed copy worth £11.99 please complete the Gleam form below. Good luck!
