We’re keen to get my son involved in the garden and have encouraged him to grow his own vegetables with the assistance of My Seedlets and The Handpicked Collection as you can see from my previous posts.
I thought it was time for a little update. Our biggest success is with our Pumpkins ….
We are also doing quite well with our Rocket and Mixed Lettuce ….
We have one little courgette …..
and we may well be seeing signs off life from our carrots and parsnips, but I’d rather not say just yet, in case they turn out to be weeds!
We don’t appear to have any guests in our Insect Hotel yet, but we’re still keeping our fingers crossed on that one.
More news to follow as the plants continue to grow 🙂
Our rocket is not doing that well. One day when it was too hot, it wilted really badly, and though it recovered, it is not as plentiful as I would have expected. also it doesn’t look like rocket at all, more like salad leaves
I can’t tell the difference between the rocket and salad leaves – all looks the same, but loads of both here
