The weather is turning and as Monkey and I venture out and about I need to know that his feet will stay warm and dry. We’ve been having some Big Days Autumn fun with GORE-TEX and Monkey loves his new ECCO Urban Snowboarder boots.
These fab boots have a wonderful fleece inner lining to keep Monkey’s feet really warm and snug. They also benefit from GORE-TEX Surround, providing waterproof protection to keep his feet dry. Any excess warmth can escape from his boots but no moisture and wetness can penetrate inside. The criss-cross velcro fasteners have also been really easy for Monkey to fasten himself. The hard-wearing direct-injected PU sole absorbs impact and provides him with great cushioning, no matter what adventure he’s on.
We didn’t realise until we out on our adventures that the silver streak on the side of the boots is reflective. A great addition for darker days.
Big Days Autumn fun with GORE-TEX so far has entailed having lots of fun at Waddesdon Manor and Warwick Castle.
What better way to put these boots to the test than on a cold November afternoon when there were leaves just calling out to be run through and lots of fun to be had.
As the sun went down so did the temperature but I didn’t need to worry about Monkey. His ECCO boots were keeping his feet lovely and warm.
Last Saturday we’d been invited to Warwick Castle, I knew we’d have a full day out and that Monkey would need to have comfortable footwear. His ECCO boots were great, we avoided any rain, but they were perfect for running around the grounds, hunting peacocks and exploring the castle ramparts.
There were adventures behind every door and paths that just had to be walked down. Monkey even had a Viking adventure.
Monkey’s certainly enjoyed some Big Days Autumn fun with GORE-TEX and I know his new boots will be keeping him warm and dry in the months ahead. It’s been our first experience of ECCO footwear and we’ve both been really impressed.
