I think my son’s fascination with all things farming began when he was about two years old. He’d been given a My First JCB board book all about a Freddie Fastrac tractor when he was a baby and it was his favourite book for a very long time. With my parents living in an agricultural part of rural Spain, every visit has always had a big focus on tractor and machinery spotting. The obsession has just grown over the years and he now has quite a good technical knowledge of farming practices. He certainly knows a lot about planting, feeding and harvesting of crops thanks to watching his Tractor Ted DVD’s on repeat and he’s always wanted his own Britains Kverneland Seeding Combination U-Drill to add to his collection.
Aimed at children aged 3 years and over the 1:32 scale replica is made from die-cast metal and durable plastic and will work with other machines and vehicles in the range.
Even a no nothing mother can appreciate the detailing on this piece of machinery. I knew my 8 year old son would be really impressed too. These toys really do look so realistic and the Britains Kverneland Seeding Combination U-Drill has some moving parts too as well as the wheels.
It’s been played with constantly since it arrived and we’ve had all sorts of planting activity going on in our living room lately. Apparently this machine is mega.
It features three packer wheels, two rows of serrated, rotating discs which move and a row of tines. It also has two stabilising arms which are moveable too.
The tow hitch on the Britains Kverneland Seeding Combination U-Drill is compatible with all Britains 1:32 scale models and my son was soon introducing it to a few of his favourite tractors. There were seeds to be sown across the land apparently.
I love watching my son, and seeing his imagination run wild. It’s exactly what he needs after a busy day at school, to switch off and have fun in his own little world. He retains such a wind range of information, and it’s through his play that I really see all that knowledge coming out. Just because he doesn’t like writing or reading independently, doesn’t mean to say that information isn’t being stored in his head for future reference.
Priced at £21.99 I’ve included my Amazon affiliate link below for your reference in case you have a fan too. They won’t be disappointed and this item is just as well made as other items we have in the range.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
