My 7 year old son has been quite literally like a pig in muck since he received the Britains NC Rear Discharge Manure Spreader recently. Honestly what is the fascination that boys of a certain age seem to have with all things related to poo? He has quite an encyclopedic knowledge of all things manure, and knew exactly what his latest piece of farm machinery was before it was even out of the box.
Aimed at children aged 3 years and over, the Britains NC Rear Discharge Manure Spreader is a 1:32 scale model of this vital piece of farm machinery. It’s made of die-cast metal and plastic and is compatible with the rest of the Britains range, meaning it can be coupled up to any number of tractors.
Not only can you carry your slurry inside the spreader, but the slurry door opens and you can manually turn the rotor blades.
It did make me laugh that in fact it took a 7 year old to show me how the slurry door opened, the back portion slides up and down Mummy. Clearly my all-knowing son is the master of machinery.
He’s had the Britains NC Rear Discharge Manure Spreader coupled up to a number of different machines here but the JCB Fastrac 3230 is his current favourite.
As for the slurry itself, that’s come in all shapes and sizes, from wooden Jenga blocks right through to pieces of Lego. My son has shredded up bits of paper and happily pulled up the slurry gate, and pushed all the ‘slurry’ out whilst turning the rotor blades, which apparently is awesome. He loves his new Britains NC Rear Discharge Manure Spreader and I love his imaginative play. Everyone’s a winner.
Even more so when my son recently purchased the NC Slurry Tanker so he can bring the tanker to the spreader for extra fun.
Priced at £19.99 I’ve included my Amazon Affiliate link below for your reference and you can see the full range of Britains farm toys over on their website. We will be showcasing the new NC Power Tilt Dump Trailer shortly too.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
