Monkey has loved Finding Nemo since the first time we sat down to watch the DVD together a few years ago. He’s not a great one for going to the cinema, so we’ve not seen the follow-up film, Finding Dory yet. When Parragon Books asked if we’d like to read their Disney Pixar Finding Dory Book of the Film, I thought it would be a great idea.
The 144 page paperback book is suitable for children aged 7-10 years and includes an 8 page colour insert in the middle, offering a hint of what the film has to offer.
Monkey and I have been enjoying reading Disney Pixar Finding Dory Book of the Film over the last week. It’s a bit beyond Monkey’s reading stamina at the moment but he reads a couple of sentences for me on every page.
We catch up with Dory, the forgetful Blue Tang fish who has the most awful memory loss, 10 seconds and it’s gone. Somehow though she knows that she was separated from her parents and she really needs to find them.
With the help of her friends Marlin and Nemo, Dory decides to find her family and her past. The Disney Pixar Finding Dory Book of the Film is a charming read, and has just made us more determined to buy the DVD as soon as we can. Any Dory fan is going to love this book.
I’ve included my Amazon Affiliate link below in case you’d like to pop the book in someone’s Christmas stocking next month!

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
This sounds like a really good book for little ones to sit and listen too but also for slightly older children who are learning to read.
It’s a lovely family book
