Fingerprint Friends fun with Meadow Kids

As you know from previous reviews we love the ranges from Meadow Kids, they always provide something a little bit different.  Great if you’re looking for some Christmas ideas! Monkey loves arts and crafts, and I knew he’d love to have some Fingerprint Friends fun with Meadow Kids.

The Fingerprint Friends set is aimed at children aged 4 years and over, and I love the way it’s packaged.  Everything is held in a sturdy outer box with two removable shelves full of craft goodies.  I also prefer to seeing colouring pencils to the dreaded felt tip pens – big Mummy smiles.  It’s so easy to pack away when the fun is over.

As you can see you receive 6 pencils, 3 ink pads, 8 stamps along with 2 template booklets as well as 5 template cards with envelopes.  One of the booklets gives childrens hints and ideas for the sort of fingerprint friends they could create.

Monkey was eager to get started with his latest crafting kit.  What to do first!

The stamps are a great size for little fingers to control and he was soon off – stamping, finger printing and drawing.

Of course this is Monkey, so the whole idea of making fingerprint friends soon went out the window. But he was having fun and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it.  Mummy, I want to save this paper for later, can I have some card please?

He loved being able to combine stamping, finger printing and drawing in one activity.  I love the fact that the ink is really easy to wash off his fingers when he’s finished for the day.

Fingerprints Friends is available through Amazon for £9.99 and we can recommend it as a good quality, fun, craft activity set.  My affiliate link below takes you to the store.

  1. N had a small tin of these for Christmas last year. He really enjoys playing with them, although I have to admit, I think I like them more! Ours is an insect/bug one
