So last weekend so 10 of us meeting up for a Bloggers Night In, hosted by Eileen of ET Speaks from Home. Some of us were meeting for the first time, some have known each other for a while. It was time for a toast and a chat!
When the lovely team at i heart wines heard of our plans they very kindly offered us a few treats for the evening for those of us that like a little drink.
We decided it was time for a toast and a chat, and that the i heart Prosecco would be great to break the ice and get our get together off with a bang! Pippa from Red Rose Mummy came up with the idea of using the i heart Prosecco with the Funkin White Peach Bellini mixer.
They worked really well together, and it was my first experience of a Peach Bellini. The i heart Prosecco was very nice, really light and not dry like some fizz. Mixed with the Funkin White Peach Bellini it was the perfect toast to get our evening started.
Later on in the evening, I tried the i heart Zinfandel Rose which was light and refreshing.
Last but not least of our treats from i heart wines was the i heart Shiraz – my personal favourite. I was really impressed with the selection we received and I’ll certainly be looking out for them on my next supermarket run, especially as they do i heart Pinot Grigio too – perfect for my girl’s curry nights!
Funkin do a range of cocktail mixers, purees and syrups. I’ll be trying a Mojito or two over the Christmas holidays!
If you need some cocktail inspiration for the party season they have a range of recipes on their website too!
Thanks to i heart wines and Funkin for helping us find time for a toast and a chat last weekend.
I’ll be sharing more treats with you over a few posts of some new things I sampled over our bloggers night in weekend – watch this space.
