Foxy Pants

Foxy Pants – review and giveaway

We’ve needed some light entertainment here lately and when we received Foxy Pants from Drumond Park, I knew we could have a bit of fun.  The game is aimed at players aged 4 years and over and can be played with 2-4 players.

Foxy Pants

Foxy Pants comes with a fox, 21 chickens, 4 chicken coops, 1 dice, a sticker sheet and instructions. and is priced at £22.99.

Foxy Pants

You need to attach the stickers to the fox and the dice, but that’s all that needs to be done before the game is played.

The aim of the game is to be the first player to collect 5 chickens safely into their chicken coop.

Foxy Pants

To start each game you need to pull the fox’s trousers up.  Move his arms upwards, turn him upside down and pull on the string to release the trousers.  Pull the trousers up around his waist and push his arms down to hold them in place.

Place the fox in the middle of your playing area, each player picks a chicken coop and then the chickens are put next to the fox.  Now you can play Foxy Pants.

Players take it in turns to roll the dice and then put that number of chickens into the pockets of the Fox’s trousers.

Foxy Pants

At the end of each turn you press the fox’s head down once until it clicks.  If nothing happens then the next players rolls the dice.

Foxy Pants

Play continues and as his trousers start to fill with chickens it’s only a matter of time until Foxy Pants will drop!

Foxy Pants

When this happens it’s a mad scramble to grab enough chickens to fill your coop.  But remember you can only use one hand to collect your chickens.

The winner of Foxy Pants is the first player to fill their coop with five chickens.  Needless to say, my eight year old is as fast as lightning and is the current champion of Foxy Pants here!

Pull the fox’s trousers out again and fasten with his arms and you are ready to play Foxy Pants again.  Game play is quick and perfect for an after school wind down.
