Germany is a country I’ve visited a number of times both for work and to visit friends. But I’ve never made it to the south of the country and to Bavaria. I follow A Bavarian Sojourn and always love looking at Emma’s photo of the area. So I jumped at the chance to review the Munich 1000 Piece Puzzle from Ravensburger recently.
Aimed at those aged 12 years and over, I’ve enjoyed winding down with this Munich 1000 Piece Puzzle from Ravensburger, once Monkey has gone to bed recently. I’ve always found jigsaw puzzles are a great way to switch off from the stresses of family life, and with the summer holidays, this has never been truer.
Working on the wonder photograph of Marienplatz in central Munich, I’ve been reliving memories of trips to other German towns and cities. The Neue Rathaus is a splendid building and I’ve really enjoyed putting the detailed pieces into place on this puzzle.
You can feel the buzz of the city centre as the shoppers explore the streets.
The towers of the Frauenkirche stand proud above the city skyline, one day I’d like to see that view for myself.
As with all of their puzzles the Munich 1000 Piece Puzzle from Ravensburger is a quality jigsaw puzzle, and the photographic quality is excellent.
From snow-covered roof tops to the famous Glockenspiel, this puzzle has been a joy to complete. It would make a great gift for a previous visitor too.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
