disclosure: we were sent these boots for the purpose of review
My boots are made for walking, and walking is what I’m going to be doing! You may remember my recent first thoughts post on my new Hi-Tec Sierra Lite Original walking boots.
Well, I’ve had my new boots for a few weeks now and thought I’d give you a little update.
Hi-Tec presents the original lightweight suede and mesh walking boot! These gorgeous fuschia pink boots feature a versatile lacing system to guarantee a secure fit, plus a moisture wick lining to keep the foot dry. A soft padded collar adds comfort, while the removable EVA sockliner adds cushioning. The rubber MDT hiking outsole is extra durable giving this unique shoe all the qualities of a hiking boot with a much more interesting look.
I’ve had a bit of a dodgy back for the last week or so, which has meant, unfortunately, that a good long walk, with a backpack, has been out of the question. But that hasn’t stopped my boots from making appearances all over the place. They’ve been to a Safari Park, a day’s shopping in a very large shopping area in London, they’ve walked to town and back with my son, to the park, to the Library, they’ve been to a Country Park and walked around lakes, been to an Airshow, they’ve even been to a Palace – not THE Palace (but the Queen does like Fuschia Pink so ….), but still a Palace. They’ve done me proud over the last few weeks.
My boots are made for walking! They are great for all kinds of walking as they are so lightweight. I’ve not had any issues with rubbing, or any part of my feet feeling sore. I’ve not walked in the rain yet, but I’m confident that my Sierra Lite Original’s will keep my feet dry when I do.
I’m really impressed with my new boots from Hi-Tec and will be getting lots of use out of them in the months ahead.
