Not Enough for Queen Fluff

Not Enough for Queen Fluff

Recently we read a book that reminded me a little of Marie Antoinette and her total disregard for the squalor her subjects lived in, whilst she enjoyed the finer things in life. Monkey had received Not Enough for Queen Fluff, the latest release from Maverick Arts Publishing.

Not Enough for Queen Fluff

So what could the picture book, written by Rachel Lyon, have in common with a French queen?  Well Queen Fluff is just the grandest of bunnies, she has it all.  From servants, to the plushest burrow, she even has a stagecoach drawn by swans.  She has everything, but she has no friends and is sad and lonely.  She decides to go on a grand tour of all the burrows in the land.

She sends out a proclamation, she is looking for the very best burrow to visit for a whole week and she expects to be treated just like the queen she is. Her subjects are poverty-stricken and can barely feed themselves, let alone provide a banquet fit for a queen.

So they devise a plan which will see Queen Fluff hopping back to her palace of a burrow in no time.  She needs to be taught a lesson.

Not Enough for Queen Fluff

I won’t spoil the story by telling you exactly what they did, but it did make Queen Fluff see the errors of her ways.  She certainly didn’t lose her head over it, but learnt a few valuable lessons.

Priced at £6.99, Not Enough for Queen Fluff is told in rhyming text and Monkey really enjoyed the story. I’ve included my Amazon Affiliate link below for your reference.
