If, like me, you are of a certain age, you will remember Panda Pops from your childhood. Well they are back, but as Panda Drinks, offering a range of still fruity drinks with no nasties in sight. To celebrate the launch Panda Drinks sent us some goodies so we could have some fun in the sun.
As Daddy P had last week off, it was going to be the perfect time to make use of these new Panda Drinks in our lunch box whilst out and about. We do love a good picnic on our days out and it’s been so warm recently, that a nice cool drink is always in order.
We received some samples of the Panda Still Juice Drinks in Raspberry and Blackcurrant, and Panda Splash – fruit flavoured water in orange & pineapple and blackcurrant flavours. All are 250ml with sports caps, so easy for a nearly 5-year-old Monkey to manage for himself and perfect for a rucksack.
The ranges contain no added sugar, only natural colours (juice drinks) and flavours, all are suitable for vegetarians and are available in multipacks of 6 with an RRP of £1.99 per pack. All are available now from Asda, Tesco and Ocado.
You can also buy 1 litre Panda squash bottles in Tropical and Summer Fruits flavours for 99p per bottle from Tesco.
They were certainly great to have on our days out last week. We’d been having lots of fun running around at the park, playing football and making sand castles. It was all thirsty work.
I’d like to be able to tell you what the Panda Drinks taste like, I can’t. I didn’t get a look in – Monkey took ownership and they were gone in a flash. In fact two of them were drunk so quickly I didn’t even get a photograph! So, I’m taking it from that, that my son approves.
disclaimer: we were sent these items and some fun summer items in exchange for an honest review

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
At least they’ve got rid of the silly peel off or stab with a straw lids. Always surprised me even when I was a child, as to why that format ever worked with children!
Yes these are much more user friendly.
I remember Panda Pops – I used to sell them at school at breaktimes.
Glad I’m not alone 🙂
I can’t believe how much Panda drinks have changed! I used to love the little bottles of Panda Pop, however, now I have children, must admit I would prefer to give them one of these!
