As I’ve mentioned before Daddy P is a rather tricky customer when it comes to buying gifts for him. He’s not a drinker, has huge feet, has no interest in sport – you can see my problem can’t you! He does love his food though, so this year we’ll be personalising Fathers Day with Treat Republic!
Treat Republic are an online retailer; offering a wide range of gift ideas as well as offering a personalised gift service. Daddy P loves cheese, so I picked the Artisan Cheese Makers Classic Cheese Board Set.
This cheese board is made from sustainable Hevea wood and it feels wonderful to touch. Our personalising Fathers Day with Treat Republic meant that we could add Daddy (you can add up to 20 characters to your personalisation) to our cheese board and we also added the year that Monkey was born; 2009.
You can feel the quality of this set, it’s certainly worth the £39.99 price tag, and I love the Est 2009 – a really nice little touch to a Fathers Day present.
As you can see the cheese board comes complete with a cheese fork as well as knives for Stilton, Cheddar and Parmesan. They all fit neatly into their own compartments, which close to leave the cheese board ready for use. It’s dimensions are 34cm x 20cm x 5cm. Something else I really like about this set are the 4 anti-slip feet on the base!
Now all I need to do is rush off to the supermarket and grab a selection of Daddy P’s favourite cheeses and Monkey and I will be all set for Fathers Day!
I have to say that if Daddy P wore a shirt needing cufflinks more often I’d have gone for Spitfire and Messerschmitt Cufflinks set. He’d love them; but he’ll get so much more use out of his new personalised cheese board!
