Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre

I’ve mentioned before that Monkey loves Play-Doh and the Fire Truck set we reviewed not long ago has been played with a lot.  He was therefore over the moon to receive the Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre when we got back from Spain last month.

Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre

Aimed at children aged 3 years and over this set has so much to keep children occupied. Monkey has had so much fun already with the Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre, it’s been a big hit.

There is some assembly required for the Town Centre play pieces, but Monkey assembled most of it himself, following the instruction booklet. Once built you have a Clock Tower, Florist, Garage with Petrol Pump and a Restaurant with a sliding table.

The set also comes with 8 pots of Play-Doh, 2 figures with hats, a chef’s hat, car, cake and pizza stampers, spatula, spade and wrench.

The figures, car and Play-Doh Town pieces literally have moulds everywhere, there are over 50 different ones to find, including animals, fruit and veg, hub caps and cones and clock hands for the clock tower.  This is the sort of set that will keep kids entertained for hours and each time they play, they will discover something new.

Monkey has decided his favourite thing about this Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre is the Restaurant.  Decide whether you are serving cake or pizza, fit the correct stamp, add your Play-Doh, push the table under the stamp, press the lever and your food is moulded and served.  Genius.  That feature alone has kept him occupied for ages on a number of occasions.

The only issue we’ve found with this set relates to the petrol pump.  I’ve had to help Monkey get the residual Play-Doh out of the pump, he couldn’t get it out by himself.  But other than that it’s really great.  Well made, and with so much scope for imaginative play.

There are features everywhere, you can pump fuel, press out flowers, give the figures hairstyles and decorate the playset with all manner of creations.  The ‘bridge’ sections can be used to connect the three sets together in any formation.

Priced at £39.99 Monkey gives the Play-Doh Town 3-in-1 Town Centre a big thumbs up and when play time is over it all fits back into the box with room to spare.
