As you all know, I love walking and I have the right boots, gloves, hat, and coat for all eventualities, I even have a waterproof backpack, but I pretty much always forget about my legs. I do have an old pair of what I call ‘over trousers’ that I bought specifically for the monsoon conditions that can hit Silverstone halfway through a race weekend. They’re waterproof, but they’re a faff and I always forget to pack them when we’re on normal days out, etc. So when an email pinged into my inbox recently asking me if I’d like to review a pair of specific walking trousers, I was on it like a rash. So I am happy to reveal that I will now be preparing for outdoor adventures with my Sprayway All Day Women’s Rainpants.
I liked the idea that these would be a comfy but practical fit for me to wear whatever the weather. I opted for a size 10 (they have elasticated side panels which have forgiven me for my recent weight gain!) and went with regular length and they’re a really good, comfortable fit.
It’s now easy to spend time preparing for outdoor adventures with my Sprayway All Day Women’s Rainpants as they feature HydroDRY® technology with breathable stretch polyamide fabric with a durable water-repellant finish They can be worn over a base layer but are perfect to wear without, and I’ve made good use of them over the last few weeks and they have been such a bonus. The trousers also feature an inner drop liner that is fully taped and two zipped pockets.
