I knew Monkey would love the Ravensburger Disney’s The Good Dinosaur puzzle as soon as we unwrapped the box. He’s a massive dinosaur fan, and I’m hoping to take him to see The Good Dinosaur at the cinema after it’s released on 27th November.
Ravensburger have a whole range of The Good Dinosaur jigsaw puzzles available for different ages, we received the 100 XXL piece puzzle, suitable for children aged 6 and over. Monkey turns 6 next month and this size of puzzle is perfect for him now.
He often watches me doing puzzles and I was able to explain to him about growing into puzzles and how as he gets older the puzzle pieces will get smaller.
I’ve always loved jigsaw puzzles and I think they are great for children in so many ways. They work on hand eye coordination, problem solving and shape sorting skills as well as building concentration levels.
The Good Dinosaur jigsaw puzzle offers the quality you come to expect from Ravensburger and Monkey was soon stuck in, putting together the picture of Arlo the Apatosaurus and Butch the T-Rex.
Monkey was engrossed in this puzzle, it held his attention and he was determined to finish it without any assistance.
Priced at £7.99 I can see a lot of children receiving this jigsaw puzzle for Christmas. I’ve included my Amazon affiliate link below for your reference.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
A cute jigsaw and I cant wait to see the film, lovely to see you keeping up the puzzling!
