I’ve been cleaning up recently, getting all domesticated in my old age, can you believe it! Although I have to say that it’s practically impossible to keep on top of everything with my 7 year old son under my feet during the school holidays.  But that said, I’ve had some assistance and now have Sparkling floors and windows with WizMops and their 2 in 1 Spray Mop Kit with Window Cleaner.

Achieving sparkling floors and windows with WizMops spray mop is really simple.  The mop handle comes in two parts and slots together easily.  It’s lightweight which is a bonus, I do wish it had some adjustment on the length of the handle as I could do with it being fractionally longer, but that’s personal choice.

With the changeable weather conditions we’ve had this month, my floors have certainly been in need of a bit of care and attention.  With a 7 year old son and a long-haired cat walking around with wet shoes and paws, the floors definitely needed a clean.  You can use the WizMops as a dry floor cleaner, but I really needed to make use of the spray mop functionality.  Again, it’s really easy to snap the handle onto the mop head and fit one of the microfibre pads.

The assembly instructions on the box my Wizmops 2 in 1 Spray Mop Kit came in were incorrect, as them mention a red cap that you need to remove to fill the bottle with water/cleaning solution.  In fact, you just slide a bar across at the top of the bottle and you can remove it from the mop assembly, put the bottle back in place and slide the bar over again to secure into place.

We have Karndean flooring in our hallway and cloakroom and you can’t use a steam mop with it, so the WizMopz is perfect for it.  You press the lever on the handle to activate the spray and then mop away.  The mop head it articulated so it can get into all the little nooks and I was very impressed with the results.  It worked just as well on the standard lino in the kitchen, and can also be used on most hard floor surfaces.

The pads can be used up to 100 washes which is worth knowing.

My wonderful cat has this great idea that to let me know he wants to come in, he should paw up and down the patio doors.  This is fine until it’s rained and then I’m left with lovely, muddy paw streaks all over the patio doors.  Never fear, now I have my trusty spray mop, with the window cleaner/wiper attachment, I can have gleaming windows, just as easily as floors.

Press in the buttons on the mop attachment to release it from the handle and click in the window cleaner/wiper and you are ready to go.
