It’s March! I always feel that’s we’ve turned a corner once we’ve got past February. I can feel that the warmer days of Spring and Summer are coming. We are really lucky that this year we have two holidays planned – one in Portugal and one in Cornwall. I’ve already started my checklist of what Monkey will need for our travels and this year sees him upgrading his backpack to the Splash PaddlePak from Trunki.
He’s 6 years old and tall for his age, and as much as he still loves his Chuckles the Clown Paddlepak, it’s time to get something larger. I thought I’d include a photo of both Chuckles and Splash together so you can get a better idea of the size difference.
The Splash PaddlePak from Trunki is a larger size, so ideal for children aged 5 years and over. We’ve used Chuckles so much in the last 2 years, the PaddlePak is a great water-resistant backpack, and I know Splash the Dolphin will serve Monkey well.
From the wrap around top fastening with break away safety buckle, to the reflective strips on the straps, to the internal dry pocket compartment, Monkey is going to have lots of adventures this year with Splash.
The padded mesh back of the PaddlePak and the adjustable straps makes it really comfortable for children to wear and it has a 10 litre capacity. Other features include a dry zip pocket in the tail, a Trunki Grip on the strap for my cool dude’s sunglasses, hanging loop (always useful in a changing room) and the external mesh pocket with accessories loop.
As the Splash PaddlePak is water-resistant it really is a great option for beach and poolside activities. I have no problem thoroughly recommending this backpack from Trunki, as our Chuckles version still looks as good as new. Monkey loves the Splash Dolphin, and this larger sized PaddlePak is also available as a Killer Whale and a Shark! The three options are normally available for £24.99, but are currently on offer on the Trunki website for £17.99 – go grab yourself a bargain and get the kids prepared for lots of summertime adventures.
