Having a vehicle mad son I knew he’d be intrigued by our latest delivery from Parragon Books – Spot A Lot: Vehicle Adventure.
Spot A Lot: Vehicle Adventure is a great paperback book which engaged Monkey from the start. He needed to follow the delivery driver as he tries to deliver a package; his truck has broken down, will he make the delivery on time?
As well as being a counting book, this is a great book for working on observation skills as we tracked down the dog on each page, found who was helping our delivery driver and solved questions that were asked along the way.
Spot A Lot: Vehicle Adventure is written by Steve Smallman and Nicola Slater’s illustrations work so well with it. There are different colour and vehicle themes throughout the book and it’s the sort of book that will be enjoyed by younger children too. Our 5 and half year old Monkey has certainly enjoyed reading it with me and completing the challenges.
It goes without say that Monkey lingered longest over the construction themed page. Oh what a surprise!
Priced at £5.99 this is a lovely activity book.
