Sol sandals from Hotter

Stepping into summer with Sol sandals – AD sent for review

It feels as if I’ve just blinked and we’ve gone from January to June! There’s been so much going on here I’m not quite sure where the last months have gone, but the sun has finally started to appear regularly and I’m looking forward to stepping into summer with Sol sandals from Hotter which I’ve been trying out over the last few weeks.

Sol sandals from Hotter

This summer I’ll be working so I really wanted a pair of sandals that work equally as well for a morning at work as they would for a day out and about on an adventure.  I also have slightly different sized feet (apparently most of us do) and not particularly slender ankles.  All of which can often make picking out sandals an interesting experience.

I was immediately drawn to stepping into summer with Sol sandals because they have touch-close ankle and over toe fastenings, making them a much better option for me with my ankles and foot size issues. The soles also have treads, making them ideal for summer fun.

The Sol sandals are available in six different colour options, as you might well have guessed, I went for the Royal Blue Multi-option as I knew they’d work so well with the majority of my summer wardrobe.  I’ve been a big fan of Hotter since I discovered them a number of years ago, their shoes, boots and sandals always offer a comfortable fit, and they offer half sizes, which for me is such a good thing.  I really am a 5.5, and especially in the summer, it’s imperative that my footwear actually fits well with no socks to pad them out.

These sandals have proved invaluable over the last few weeks, and it’s been great to know that I can walk to work in sandals that don’t rub and fit well.

As well as enjoying adventures away from home, walking for miles and not suffering for it at the end of the day.
