I do tend to live in a pair of old faithful sandals during the summer. Ones that I know won’t give me blisters, are comfy and will go with pretty much anything. But they are flat, really flat, and I’ve wanted something that gives me a bit of height but still offers the comfort factor. I had a good look around the range of summer sandals from Daniel Footwear recently and found just the thing.
Daniel Footwear have a really wide range of sandals, shoes and handbags (I was good and remained focused on sandals!). Sandals with a bit of height were in order, a colour that would go with pretty much anything in my summer wardrobe, and no straps. I have horrible ankles, they are really thick and strappy sandals and me just do not go together unfortunately.
I spotted these lovely Daniel Taupe Leather Goldhawk Road mid wedge toe post sandals – just the job! I opted for Taupe, but there is also an option in black.
I love wedge shoes and sandals and with a 6.5cm heel height these are perfect for me this summer. They work well with a dress, skirt or trousers and would look lovely with jeans too. It was love at first sight and I’ve been living in them since they arrived last week.
They are really comfy, the buckles are adjustable which is great for me as I have one foot larger than the other – oh for a perfect body! With leather uppers and cork and rubber sole these sandals will be getting lots of mileage over the summer months here!
Priced at £49.00 I’m really pleased with my Summer sandals from Daniel Footwear. They fit all of my requirements. Now I just need that sun to come back!
With delivery from £3.99 Daniel Footwear can normally despatch in 24 hours so if you’re looking for different sandal options for your holidays why not pop over and have a look.

These look really comfy and love the little wedge on them!
So do I, I’m so pleased with them.
I quite like these. Nice with a wedge.
I’ve been trying to look for strappy (flat) sandals, and have the same problem as you (well, your ankles don’t look fat at all though!). But I’ve got one normal size ankle and then one that’s bigger and swells if my leg’s not been raised thanks to previous DVT. But even for the normal size ankle I struggle to find straps that fit. They should make them longer because thin ankle people can then just cut them off to size!
Trust me, mine aren’t thin and my ankles swell up whenever it’s hot these days since being pregnant. Yes I agree!
