Supporting Red Nose Day with Weetabix Strawberry

I’ve been a lifelong fan of Weetabix, it has certainly been my breakfast cereal of choice for as long as I can remember.  This year I’ll be supporting Red Nose Day with Weetabix Strawberry!

The special edition Weetabix Strawberry packs have been launched to support Red Nose Day 2015 on Friday 13th March and you can pick them up in the supermarket now for only £2.00 with a 50p off coupon attached too!  A 5p donation is given by Weetabix to Comic Relief for every pack purchased.

Each pack comes with an on pack promotion that gives families the chance to win exciting prizes as part of the Pick Your Nose campaign – ‘nosetastic’ experiences as part of this year’s Weetabix Red Nose Day promotion. There’s nine different experiences on offer, such as flying though the sky like a superhero with ‘SuperNose’ for an awesome indoor skydive experience.

Each pack of the Weetabix Strawberry special edition plus Ready Brek, Weetos and Crispy Minis will offer parents the chance to win great experiences for their kids.  There is a promotional code on the inside of each packet, which you enter on the Pick Your Nose webpage, pick one of the nine Red Nose Characters, to take part in the weekly draw.  There are nine main prizes and 50 runners-up prizes to be won every week between 13/01/15 and 03/04/15.

What did we think of the special edition Weetabix Strawberry packs?  Well I normally have my Original Weetabix with a sprinkling of sugar on top.  I tried that the first day with the Strawberry version and it was too sweet for me.  Having them plain was much better, it took me a couple of days to get used to the strawberry taste in my favourite breakfast cereal.  But for a change, I’m enjoying them.  Daddy P gives it the thumbs up too.  Monkey wasn’t so keen, but he’s not that great with trying new things at the moment!

Will you be supporting Red Nose Day with Weetabix Strawberry?  Have you already tried this special edition pack?

disclaimer:  we were sent a couple of packs of the item mentioned in exchange for an honest review.

  1. Weetabix is a big hit in our house too – often mixed with a variety of corn flakes or rice Krispies!! We’re all strawberry lovers in our house so I think we’ll give it a go!
