Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack

Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, the Tonka brand has been helping kids have lots of imaginative play fun for 70 years.  It’s a brand I remember well from my own childhood, and their toys are built to last.  The Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack is another example of this, robust vehicles that will withstand a lot of play.

The Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack consists of a Fire Engine, Ambulance, Police Car and a couple of cones.  First impressions are that this set really is made to last, there are no plastic parts that will get snapped off.  The vehicles are chunky and perfect for little hands, and are aimed at children aged 3 years and over.  There aren’t many toys on the market that come with a lifetime guarantee.

There are a whole range of vehicles to collect in the series too, so they’d make great stocking fillers at this time of year.

I have to be honest, Monkey’s not a great one for emergency vehicles, he’s far more interested in dumper trucks, cement mixers, diggers and the like.  So I wasn’t sure how this set would go down with him.

He’s nearly 7, but still very much in the small world play stage.  For him, he’d like to have seen ladders that worked and sirens sounding.  But for children at the lower end of the age range for the Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack, I think they’d be perfect.  The wheels are really secure and the vehicles will withstand a lot of play fun.

The Tonka Diecast Emergency Three pack has been very handy with a few accidents on the train track recently though.  They’ve certainly been put to the test and helped save the day.

This set retails for £11.99 but I’ve noticed that Argos have it on offer at the moment for £9.99.

You can find out about the Tonka Steel and Tonka Climbover ranges in my previous posts.
