We have a new member of the family, he’s rather different but we all rather like him. Meet Transformers – The Last Knight Autobot Sqweeks RC. Aimed at children aged 6 years and over, my 7 year old son has loved getting to grips with our new robot friend.
You might have noticed Autobot Sqweeks in the Transformers: The Last Knight movie. He’s the smallest bot, a man if few words but he’s all action. The Hasbro Transformers – The Last Knight Autobot Sqweeks RC needs 6 x AA batteries, 4 for the robot itself and 2 for the controller.
To fit the batteries in the back of the Autobot Sqweeks you remove his backpack.
He stands just over 20cms tall and comes complete with a blaster accessory.
To turn him on you just flip him upside down and back again, when you’ve finished playing with him just turn him upside down and hold him there for 8 seconds. He will actually go to sleep if he’s been inactive for 3 minutes, which is good to know when he’s using 6 batteries.
The controller itself is very easy to use, and my 7 year old son grasped it quickly. The left wheel moved the Autobot Sqweeks backwards and forwards and the right wheel spins him left and right.
You can attach the Blaster Accessory easily to the arm of the Autobot Sqweeks, but my son hasn’t been bothered with playing with the robot in that way at all.
He’s had far more fun playing with the Transformers – The Last Knight Autobot Sqweeks RC in Robot and Dance modes and even I’ve had to have a go too.
He talks, dances and his eyes change colour. He’s really rather fun.
