I got a real treat last week – some ‘me time’ in London, tea tasting and flower arranging, all thanks to Moonpig! I spent the day looking at some great ways of treating those you love with Moonpig and their SS15 collection. They are so much more than a greeting cards supplier!
On a sunny Spring morning I got to enjoy the London skyline from the Sky Bar of the Grange Holborn Hotel whilst catching up with some familiar faces.
Moonpig have a wonderful offering for the SS15 season – yes, there are still the wide range of Greeting Cards as you would expect; but also food and drink hampers, pampering treats and some really lovely flower bouquets.
We were treated to some lovely teas from the English Tea Shop. I can thoroughly recommend their Apple and Rosehip tea and I tried Rooiboos for the first time, which was also fab.
Moonpig supply a number of tea themed hampers and the English Tea Shop Organic Tea Collection would make a lovely present, and is only £7.50.
The Sky Bar was full of colour with a selection of bouquets that are available to order from Moonpig starting from around £25. We really were treated to a vibrant splash of colour.
Could we recreate the Moonpig Mothers Day bouquet? We were given some expert guidance, and it certainly was a first for me. Pressure was on, with florists in Daddy P’s family I could hardly go home with a mess! Could we make something resembling the Violet Gift Bag priced at £35?
But luckily Asta, a trained florist was on hand to guide us through our creations.
It was really good fun and actually I was quite pleased with the result. It stood up well by itself, as long as I didn’t compare to the professional displays! I even managed to get it home in one piece and my bouquet has been brightening up my living room for the last week and is still going strong.
Once we’d enjoyed putting our bouquets together it was time to have a look at the other ranges within the Moonpig Collection. From the Food Hampers I really quite fancy the Montezumas Cook Book Hamper priced at £25. I quite fancy that for Mothers Day (coughs loudly with Daddy P nearby).
For all those mothers out there who love gardening, then the Gardeners Recovery SOS Tin might be a good idea as a children’s present and it only costs £10.
If you really want to push the boat out and party through Spring then why not with the Hendricks Gin Gift Set, £30 – sounds like my kind of heaven. Or maybe the Luxury White Whicker Basket set for £50.
With my birthday creeping ever closer, I think this would be an ideal gift – hint, hint, Daddy P!
Moonpig really are so much more than greeting cards aren’t they! As you’ve seen above, the range of flower bouquets offer something for everyone, but I think my absolute favourite would have to be the Bright Spring Days bouquet at £35 – really colourful.
I had a wonderful time in London, and was really surprised by the #MoonpigCollection for SS15 – so much choice.
Will you be treating those you love with Moonpig in the months ahead?
disclaimer: I was given free travel costs, the bouquet I made and a lovely goodie bag for attending this event, but my thoughts and comments, as always, remain my own.

Over 40 and a Mum to One
A Mum with a 13 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
This looks like such a great event. I didn’t know Moonpig did so much! x
I’m very impressed with your bouquet, it looks very professional! ☺Stevie x
