We’re part of the Vileda Product testing panel, and were recently sent the new Vileda Extra Power Scourer to put to the test. We received a pack of 2 scourers.
We don’t own a dishwasher – that role is mine – aren’t I the lucky one! I’ve worked my way through numerous scourers that never seem quite up for some of the mess left by my cooking! The Vileda Extra Power scourer has a 3D sealed surface, which is designed to be easier to rinse and keep clean.
The Vileda Extra Power Scourer is certainly robust and has withstood the challenges in my washing up bowl well. I have avoided using this scourer with non-stick pans as I was wary of scratching them. I have seen on the Vileda website that they do a non-stick version too.
I always dread cleaning my casserole dishes and pudding dishes but the Vileda Extra Power Scourer has made light work of all the baked on remnants of dinner. The scourer is well-shaped, and I’ve been impressed with the results. Anything that makes my time washing up quicker, is great.
You can see the difference in one from photo to the other – the Vileda Extra Power Scourer did a great job cleaning this dish, and many others over the last couple of weeks.
The great thing is, that the textured surface of the scourer really does mean you don’t get left with any food waste after washing up. It really does work.
Priced at £1.19 for a pack of 2 scourers I think the Vileda Extra Power Scourer represents good value for money, as these scourers actually last.

That looks like a really good scourer – I usually buy the cheap ones and then regret it after one load of washing up!
It’s definitely lasting well, much better than others I’ve bought
