The weather has been so gloomy recently and I’m really not a winter person. I treated myself to some flowers to cheer the living room, and me, up. The bouquet came with one red rose which looked so lovely when it was in full bloom. A rich red, to warm any dull day.
A couple of weeks ago we were down in Hampshire for the day celebrating Daddy P’s birthday. We spent most of the day on the Watercress Line, but popped out to have lunch at Hinton Ampner, and to explore the grounds of the National Trust property.
